Battles Are Meant To Build You, Not Break You.

One thing you can count on in life is battles are going to come, especially if you’re walking with God. Some battles are more like when you’re arguing with your brother over a pop-tart, and some others are more like you’re fighting for your life. Either way, life is never always cupcakes and rainbows. We aren’t in Heaven, yet. With Jesus, there is victory. With Jesus, there is strength. You either get strength to overcome, or you get strength to endure and get through to the other side.

When I was going through the toughest time of my life, I always wondered why I didn’t get a miraculous healing like I saw so many people receive. Today, you may be going through a battle. I know you want the pain, fear, or struggle to just stop already. Trust me, I get it. But let me tell you something about this pain, fear, and struggle. It’s building you by bringing you into experiencing just how powerful and loving God is. This is where you get your oil to break yokes for other people. I also believe that sometimes we need to endure those hardships long enough so we will never forget how bad it was, and how nothing else was able to take it away but God.

I took medicine for some time during my postpartum depression, and it never healed me. It never taught me how to think right, it never gave me the ability to break generational chains off my family, it never gave me gifts to help other people either. See, these things came when I went through the valleys of darkness, with God. And honestly, I’m glad it happened. To wrap this up, I don’t have all the answers. But I can tell you that we are all only human, and we don’t have it all figured out. We need God. The best part is, He wants us! He wants us to lean on Him and depend on Him for any and everything. He’s not like an earthly father who can get annoyed or tired. He is absolutely in love with you and wants to guide and protect you by bringing you into a close relationship with Him. What is there to lose? What is there to hold back from Him? Nothing. He has your best interest in His heart.

Trust the process, even though it may be painful. God is either going to fight through you or fight for you.

Love ya’ll
